I proceded to experiment and bring my design further forward by creating a shell on one of the blank faces to create a reverse asthetic of the exterior.
I shelled out the other two faces to create a complex/optical illusion (second image) and a simple shell on the last face. This makes a nice transition between the three faces: extreme shell, moderate shell, and simple/basic shell. This also created a hollowed out interrior of each of the other 3 faces (the extruded ones) with the same jagged steps; you can see what I'm talking about by looking at the inside of the first shell.
